EoS Clan Rules
Along with these rules be sure to read and understand our clan policies, found here.
General Expectations of behavior:
Be Mature. If you are to debate other clans friend or foe, don't be an idiot.
Be respectful to clan mates
No ranking of EoS in the top 10/20/30 topics
No racism
No Bs'ing EoS members.
No Attacking a Clan member unless it is a declared DM.
No filter evading. It does not do us well to have muted members.
No PJ'ing DM's
No attending any clan wars besides our own on your main.
Take your problems to the Council! If you have a problem with a clan member bring it up to a council member you trust. This will save us a lot of clan drama and unhealthy rivalries. If you have a problem with a council member bring it to a leaders attention. DO NOT post about it on the forums!
-No mentioning specifics of EoS events (such as mentioning the world of a pk trip, location of the clan, or even the fact that the clan or allies are pking at all).
-Use a recognizable nick-name. Also do not change your nick-name that often in most circumstances (e.g. "Nickos" to "Nickos|away" would be fine, where-as "Nickos" to "Barbie" to "Pumpkin" would not).
-No offensive nick names.
-Do not spam other clans'/groups' mIRC/IRC rooms.
-No spamming EoS' mIRC/IRC room.
-Be more or less appropriate
-Obey those with authority (if you believe they are abusing their powers, take a picture, log the chat, etc... and take it to the HC)*
-No degrading jokes/statements (jokes or statements that degrade or generalize certain groups of people; ethnic, social, political, sex, etc.)
-No flaming/insulting others
-No making accusations over mIRC. If you believe someone has broken EoS' rules, then take it to the HC. mIRC is not to be used to confront and charge people with their misdeeds
EoS' mIRC/IRC room is for everyone's enjoyment, for discussions, respectful debating/arguing, or just goofing around. In order to keep it fun, people need to be respectful and more or less appropriate; there's no need to be so inappropriate that other's may get offended. Keep explicit and blunt statements and jokes that may be deemed offensive between you and your close friends over msn/aim etc, not for public. Other than that, enjoy mIRC.
*Abusing of mod powers will result in temporary, and possibly permanent, loss of mod powers in the EoS mIRC chat room, depending on the seriousness of the abuse.
If there is flaming between 2 or more peoples in mIRC, it does not matter who started the fight, all those involved in the flaming will be punished.
If you are found to be spamming other mIRC/IRC rooms punishment may extend past your mIRC/IRC access, but may endanger your membership in EoS.
